Informed Research, LLC is an independent research company. We run confidential online discussion groups, studies, and questionnaires that pair the honest opinions of everyday people with the organizations that need to hear them.

What we do

Organizations make better decisions when they understand how regular people actually react, not how they're assumed to react. Our clients commission research to find that out. We recruit participants who reflect the community, bring them together in moderated video sessions, ask real questions about real topics, and report what people genuinely think, including the parts that are inconvenient to hear.

Every study is conducted online. Participants join by video from home, sessions are moderated by a researcher whose job is to draw out candid views rather than steer them, and everyone is paid a flat rate that is confirmed in writing before they commit.

Why our clients are confidential

We do not tell participants who commissioned a study, and we don't identify our clients publicly. This is not secrecy for its own sake. It is standard research practice. When people know who is asking, they shade their answers toward what they think that audience wants, and the research becomes worthless. Blind sponsorship is how we keep the opinions honest, and it is a core part of what clients engage us to protect.

The same discipline runs the other way. Participants sign a confidentiality agreement covering session content, and we treat their identities and their responses as confidential in return.

How we treat participants

Terms in writing, always

Date, length, format, and pay are confirmed in writing before every session. No surprises on either side.

Flat-rate pay, promptly

$125 for two-hour sessions and $200 for three-hour sessions, paid by Venmo or PayPal after participation.

Never a sales pitch

We never sell anything to participants, never charge to join, and never ask for passwords or banking logins.

Verified and protected

Every member is identity-verified at enrollment, and personal information is used for research matching and payment only.

Who can participate

Our panel is open to United States citizens who are 18 or older and live in the US. Membership is free, joining takes about five minutes, and members decide invitation by invitation whether to take part.
